After a very encouraging response from people who ordered the Easter and Fall 2009 mini-issues with Catholic Digest, we have decided to continue our efforts to publish a large-sized, independent magazine that can be offered as a yearly subscription.

A few years ago, we said a novena to St. Thérèse of Lisieux, and the answer was the idea for St. Mary's Messenger, a Catholic version of Highlights, for ages 7–12.

We developed a sample issue, and gave it to parents, teachers, children, priests, editors, writers, and others, to determine whether there was the need and interest for this new magazine. The answer? An overwhelming yes.

In 2009, we published two more issues, and you can look at some free sample pages. Please send us your comments.

And please pray and ask for the intercession of our Blessed Mother (for whom our magazine is named) and the saints. We've consecrated St. Mary's Messenger to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the magazine will always be her magazine and for her children, dedicated to the glory of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
